Title: Phase One
Rating: G
Pairing: Zelenka/Lorne, pre-slash
Spoilers: None
Disclaimer: None of these characters belong to me...sadly
Feedback: yes, please.
Summary: Lorne conducts an experiment.
Author’s Notes: written for the
slashing_lorne February challenge, dodecal challenge. I kind of ignored the prompt on this one. I think I was trying too hard with following the prompt and the form.
Lorne had all but given up his scientific background to come to Atlantis, but, right now, he was in the middle of a very scientific experiment. If he hadn’t been afraid they’d fall into the wrong hands, he’d have made up charts and catalogued his findings.
He’d made his hypothesis several days ago, and he was well on his way to proving it. He’d varied his work schedule so he was never assigned the same duty more than twice a week, and never on alternate or consecutive days.
He’d changed his workout schedule and begun sitting in on other teams’ training sessions so there was no discernable pattern to his time in the gym.
The third time Lorne bumped into him in the mess between mealtimes, he had his proof.
The wiry Czech engineer was following him.
It was time to begin Phase Two.
