Ten Years' Waiting by
sheafrotherdon - Ronon/Keller NC-17
Okay, after Quarantine, who didn't want to see this pairing? And sheafrotherdon always does a marvelous job. Her Farm in Iowa series is not only one of the only McShep pieces I would ever recommend, it made me want to buy back my grandparents' farm to live in some day when I'm rich and famous.
This piece gets into Ronon's head, and it's a beautiful, elegant place without making the mistake many authors do of giving him a very antiquated, eloquent way of speaking, which we have seen canonically is not the case. Keller is sweet and bashful, but fun as well, and it's a relationship of equals.
