gatecreation episodes challenge. Only slightly longer than a drabble. More like an uber-mini-ficlet.
It had been a long couple of days for Radek. He’d spent hours up to his elbows in Wraith dart components, only to have McKay sweep in at the very end with his predictably brilliant and insane plan. And, as usual, however insane it may have been, it worked beautifully.
Radek had been terribly concerned for his friend, of course. But it wasn’t until he watched Rodney kissing Carson that he began to pray in earnest that everything would go back to normal once McKay had saved the day.
Looking up from his book to see a familiar dimpled face watching him from the doorway, Radek said the words that, days ago, he would have sworn would never come from his mouth.
“All right, Carson. I am man enough to admit it. I was jealous of Rodney.”
The admission hurt, and it was possibly the most difficult thing he’d ever had to say, but when the grin on his lover’s face turned feral, Radek knew he wouldn’t regret it.
